We
are constantly searching for bulls that will sire
more muscle, bone and hair without sacrificing the
easy calving, maternal abilities that
Angus cattle are known for. In some cases we have
covered many miles to find the right bulls, and in
others they are the product of our own breeding
program.
In the past we
used to AI a large number of our cows, both purebred
and commercial. However we have found that by
utilizing the genetics of our own herd bulls we have
been able to create much more consistency and
overall genetic improvement in our
breeding program. |
