Stauffer Land & Livestock is owned and operated by Dawn and Dwane Stauffer. We have two girls Alyson 6, and Racheal 5 and now with our newest addition we have 2 boys, Wade 3 and Grady 3 months.
We are located in Central Alberta, west of Red Deer on High way #11 to Benalto and 8 km South on RR30.
We are calving over 100 head cows and bred heifers. We operate on both pasture and cultivated land. We grow as much feed as we can and we manage our pastures with a intensive grazing system which has been working really well allowing for longer grazing time for our cows and bulls.
Our cows are fed silaga and hay based TMR rations that are monitored by our extensive herd health program by Cow/Calf Health Management Services, Dr. Troy Drake. The health program consists of a complete protocol for Cows , calves and all our sale bulls.
We host an Annual Charolais Bull Sale which is held on the 4th Friday of March each year. The sale is held here on the farm in the Stauffer Sale Barn. This year we are proud to be hosting our 11th sale! For more information click on the “sale”.
