At Spruce Grove Cattle Co. we are firm believers that the future in Agriculture is our youth. Ernest was a member of the Pahonan 4-H Club and as a youngster Bruce grew up with the 4-H and YCS movement as a member of the Kinistino 4-H club starting at the age of 7 and finishing his final 2 years as leader.

At present Jenna, Matt, and Paige are all involved in the Weldon 4-H Beef Club. Jenna is the leader for the Cloverbud group while Matt & Paige are active members. We are extremely pleased to be associated with a 4-H club that is so progressive teaching our youth values.

We support 4-H and the Young Canadian Simmental Assoication (YCSA) every chance we get. Our children have learned so much from these youth organizations that we need to give them assistance whenever possible. Jenna and Matt currently both hold positions on the Sask. YCSA board; Jenna serving the position of President and Matthew as Vice-President. Jenna also currently sits on the National YCSA board as vice-president.

Paige has recently joined the Melfort Trailblazers Light Horse club. She thoroughly enjoys riding and taking care of the horses. Both Matt & Paige enjoy riding in their free time where Matt competes in team roping and Paige has big dreams of being a barrel racer!

We are extremely proud of their accomplishments and truly do appreciate all the work they do at home.
