  - Currently we run just over 230 head of
Simmental X Red Angus X Horned Hereford cows. Heifers are either bred Red
Angus or Horned Herefords and the cows are bred Charolais.

- The commercial herd provides us with an
excellent venue to see our genetics at work in the real world. We
watch to see the bulls' ability to maintain himself while working, his
temperament and his performance.
We run a 450 head capacity feedlot
and feed out all of our own calves in addition to bought cattle. We
watch to see how well our home raised calves perform on feed. All the
data helps us keep our genetics in touch with what the
bottom line is...raising quality beef.
