Welcome...
The
Saskatchewan Hereford Association was founded in 1919,
making it one of the oldest associations in the
province. The strength of the Association is in its
members, based on the family unit, working together,
helping us to achieve our goals.
Saskatchewan is noted throughout the world for its
Hereford cattle. Hereford buyers from all parts of the
globe have come to Saskatchewan to purchase our
genetics.
The
Saskatchewan Hereford Association is governed by a
twelve member Board of Directors. Eight of the twelve
are elected at our Annual General Meeting and four are
elected from the four zones.
The
province is divided into four zones which include: North
West, North East, South West and South East. The four
zones are organized into associations as well as they
plan activities at local levels, hosting summer events
each year. Each zone takes turns hosting the
Saskatchewan Hereford Association General Meeting during
the summer months.
