Since 1974 OVHF has prided itself in providing Hereford cattle that are backed by performance, E.P.D’s  and Igenity. Our passion and dedication to the Hereford breed is evident through our active involvement in the showring and sales.

Our success has been due to our perseverance to raise cattle that are functional and that meet today’s standards and market demands. The four of us work as a team to provide our customers with the best Hereford genetics available today.

Kerry and Jill represented the Hereford breed throughout their 4-H and Junior Hereford careers by only showing purebreds. In raising Hereford Champion steers they were able to heighten the awareness of Herefords as a carcass breed year after year. The girl’s education has revolved around the agricultural world and they look forward to continuing on the OVHF legacy that their parents began over 30 years ago.

OVHF Saskatchewan - Frank & Andree McNeely have finally settled into their ranch in Avonlea, SK. Avonlea is positioned in the shadow of the Blue Hills & 5 min. from "Corner Gas". OVHF has been operating for 39 yrs. Since the girls have branched off into two other divisions. OVHF continues to work together to bring new and exciting seed stock to the market place. Breeders/friends old or new are always welcome.

OVHF Saskatchewan - Kerry & Curtis Gaillard operate at Milestone, SK. They are building their part of the herd based on the OVHF foundation cow families. They have a diversified cropping operation and  visitors are always welcome.

OVHF Alberta - Jill & Cole Harvie continue an intensive breeding/marketing program. Harvie Traveler 69T x Miss Carlson 78m on the ground currently in 2009 Jill and Cole enjoy touring the pastures so give them a call.
