OVHF Ontario - Frank & Andree McNeely recently sold their business and the core of the OVHF cattle have been relocated to Avonlea, SK. Avonlea is positioned in the shadow of the Blue Hills & 5 minutes from "Corner Gas". Visitors are always welcome!

OVHF Saskatchewan - Kerry McNeely and fiance Curtis Gaillard operate at Milestone, SK. Half sisters to "Miss Carlson 78M" along with the "OVHF - Duchess line" can be found in  their herd. Drop in for a visit to see their calves by Harvie Raftsman 16R (Denver Res. Sen. Champion 2008); BNMHPH 13P Heat 101S (Canadian Nat. Champ. in 2006) and "Spike" (Remitall Pounder son used heavily at OVHF)

OVHF Alberta - Jill Harvie with husband Cole continue an intensive breeding/marketing program. ET Stamina calves x 78M are on the ground and also a natural bull calf by Harvie Raftsman 10R. Jill and Cole enjoy touring the pastures so give them a call.

 

 

Since 1974 OVHF has prided itself in providing Hereford cattle that are backed by performance, E.P.D’s  and Igenity. Our passion and dedication to the Hereford breed is evident through our active involvement in the showring and sales.

Our success has been due to our perseverance to raise cattle that are functional and that meet today’s standards and market demands. The four of us work as a team to provide our customers with the best Hereford genetics available today.

Kerry and Jill represented the Hereford breed throughout their 4-H and Junior Hereford careers by only showing purebreds. In raising Hereford Champion steers they were able to heighten the awareness of Herefords as a carcass breed year after year. The girl’s education has revolved around the agricultural world and they look forward to continuing on the OVHF legacy that their parents began over 30 years ago.

OVHF has recently branched off to Saskatchewan and Alberta.  Kerry built a show barn this year and is running bred yearlings and a few donor females with her boyfriend Curtis.  Jill joined Harvie Ranching last fall with her marriage to Cole Harvie.  Jill currently runs a purebred Hereford & Charolais herd with her husband Cole and his family.
