Welcome to Meadow-Acres Farms

Our herd was started in 1990 by purchasing ten cow/calf pairs. We have built up our herd to 110 purebred and 65 commercial females by consistently culling hard and using top bulls for breeding. Each year we strive hard to improve our herd to offer the best we can. We feel that we are succeeding. In the past few years we have come a long way to being where we want to be in this breed.

We have a mixed farming operation with cereals, oilseed and pulse crops. We are lucky enough to have our two sons interested in farming with us. Dustin loves the fieldwork and Darnell loves the cattle work. It is the best of both worlds for us.

We have been successful in the show ring. It is important to us to take our very best to town to compare with what others in the breed are doing.
