This cow family originated from the great WTK herd in Montmartre, SK. The
first major accomplishment for this cow family was when a son of Blanche 28S,
WTK Bond, was named U.S. National Champion Bull.
We were fortunate enough to purchase two daughters of Blanche 28S. The
first female was Blanch 55G. We partnered with Lian Mor Polled Herefords,
Country Land Farm and Hereford Haven Farm to purchase her. She was the
high selling heifer calf in Canada that year. That same year Blanche 28S
and 55G together won Grand Champion Female at the Brandon Mark of Excellence
Show.
Blanche 55G has since become a great producing individual herself, rising to
the status of donor female. The first animal produced by 55G that we
offered for sale was 113K. She was sired by Remitall Governor and became
the high selling animal of the New Century Event in Ontario.
55G has also produced herd sires "Nastech" and "Minstrel".
Both sons
have been successful show animals and have received favorable comments.
The second daughter of 28S in the herd is Blanche 168E. She too has
become a donor female. We've had great success marketing progeny from 168E
right off the farm with daughters and granddaughters working in the hers of the
Stewarts, Haynes and DeShazers. |
