Hill 70

The Hill 70 Quantock name is relatively fresh on the horizon of beef cattle being incorporated in 1990.
Don't let that youth fool you as our family started in cattle in 1904 at Lloydminster with the immigration of George Barnet Creech. And the name came with him as he originated from an area of England known as the Quantock Hills.
Quantock Herefords evolved Quantock Cattle Co in 1973 and then to Hill 70 Quantock Ranch Ltd. as family members changed with time.
The early days of Quantock saw a real emphasis on the show ring and rightfully so, as that was the mode to change the cattle. The show ring was our promotion and it laid a phenomenally sound base for our outfit to move on to the bull business as we know it now.
Performance serviceability and function are our show ring now. Visual appraisal is not good enough any more. EPD's performance and function dominate our selection criteria.
