2021 Friends of Canadian Simmental Foundation Auction Moves to Online Format

May 31, 2021

The Canadian Simmental Association (CSA) along with the Manitoba Simmental Association (MSA) have made the difficult decision to postpone the CSA convention until 2022. As a result the Friends of Canadian Simmental Foundation (FCSF) will be unable to have our annual fundraising auction in a live auction format and instead will be having a Fundraising Auction online.

The FCSF Annual Fundraising Auction will be held on as a live timed event beginning the morning of Friday July 23rd and closing on the evening of Saturday July 24th. We will have the same great variety of genetics, art, children’s toys, credits and other memorabilia to bid on.

The highlight of the auction will be the lot 1 bred Heifer donated by the Crowe Bros. from Gilbert Plains Manitoba. Tickets will be sold similar to years past on DLMS and the winning ticket will be drawn following the Auction on a FaceBook live broadcast.

This auction proceeds are targeted for youth education and scholarships, and also provides commitment to research and development for the beef industry. While this year’s sale looks different, the Foundation is very excited to be able to bring the FCSF Auction back for 2021 in this new format and we look forward to again hosting a live auction in 2022 during the Canadian Simmental Association Convention and AGM in Manitoba.

If you would like to donate items to this year’s auction please contact our office by, Email: or By Phone: 1.403.250.7979, or visit our website to contact any Board of Director.
