Welcome to Blair Athol. Established in 1882 our ranch has stood the test of time. We are located on the original homestead 4 miles west and 3 miles north of Arcola. Blair Athol has always been a mixed cattle and grain farm but in the mid 1990's shifted production to solely raising Hereford cattle. 2010 marks our 100th consecutive year of registering purebred Hereford cattle. Our ranch is now in its fifth generation of Lees and the future looks bright for generations to come.
We breed approximately 200 females per year both polled and horned. Our annual female sale is one of the highlights of the fall sale run in Canada. Many great bulls and females have sold in Blair/Athol Haroldson's and Friends and the spring of 2012 is shaping up to be just as exciting. The Wilson/Lees Bull Sale
on April 6th, 2012 is also a can not miss event in the Hereford breed.
40 top quality bulls are offered on an annual basis from 4 different
herds and 500 purebred cows.
We live and breathe Hereford and are proud to have been recognized as the 2009
Canadian 
Western Agribition Premier
Breeder at the National Hereford Show. We also exhibit at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado.
Visitors are always welcome at Blair Athol at the base of the scenic Moose Mountains. Plan to visit anytime.
